About the role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, working to manufacturer standards and delivering a high level of workmanship.
You'll be responsible for:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing first-time fixes wherever possible
- Carrying out vehicle health checks and video reports
- Keeping colleagues updated on job progress
- Working safely and efficiently within the workshop
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
What we're looking for
You'll need:
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Mechanic
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional approach and commitment to high-quality workmanship
MOT Tester qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
Experience with manufacturer brands is useful, but specific brand experience isn't essential. Full training and development are available.
Newly qualified technicians are also encouraged. We have opportunities for technicians looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career.
