The Role
As our MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and customer care. Your duties will include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to manufacturer and industry standards
- Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solutions
- Completing Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying any additional work required
- Completing all job cards, MOT documentation and digital records accurately
- Working efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Delivering excellent workmanship and providing outstanding customer service
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Good mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- High attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, professional and committed approach to work
Desirable:
- Experience working within a franchised dealership or independent garage
- Knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles (training provided if required)
