An established, highly regarded independent service center in Warwick is searching for a practical Vehicle Technician to join their close-knit workshop team. - Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team performance incentive (An active MOT Tester licence is a strong bonus and can increase your basic starting pay rate!)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Execute core mechanical repairs, including timing chains/belts, clutch kits, engine overhauls, and gearbox replacements
- Use multi-brand diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults accurately
- Complete routine servicing, safety inspections, brake/suspension repairs, and pre-MOT health checks
- Write detailed repair notes on job sheets and keep front-desk staff informed on job timelines
- Maintain clean working bays and follow standard workshop health and safety protocols
What We Need From You
- Technical Experience: Time-served mechanic with solid confidence in heavy mechanical repair work and diagnostic fault isolation
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served garage background)
- MOT Status: MOT Smart Card / active MOT Tester licence is preferred (with enhanced starting pay potential), but is not essential to apply
- Mindset: Dependable, detail-oriented technician focused on clean workmanship and right-first-time fixes
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
