Who We Are
Based in Wadhurst, we are a modern, well-equipped, family-run garage carrying out MOTs, servicing, diagnostics, wheel alignment, tyres, air-conditioning and general repairs. We work on a wide range of vehicles including cars, 4×4s, MPVs, SUVs and vans, and pride ourselves on quality workmanship, transparency and trusted warranties.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join us on a flexible temporary contract. This role is ideal if you're looking for short- or medium-term work with consistent hours, competitive pay, and no agency involvement.
Pay & Benefits
- £19–£22 per hour (depending on experience)
- Paid weekly
- No agency fees – you keep 100% of your pay
- Flexible contract length
- Monday–Friday working pattern
- Saturday work available on rota (optional)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently within agreed timescales
- Test and verify completed work to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain clear records of inspections and repairs
- Communicate effectively with the workshop team regarding job progress

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Confident using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
