We are recruiting for an experienced technician to join a well-established independent specialist garage in Tunbridge Wells. This is a permanent, full-time Monday-to-Friday position offering a modern workshop, excellent working conditions, specialist diagnostic equipment, ongoing technical training and genuine career progression.
You'll work on a range of premium, prestige and performance vehicles, without the weekend working and dealership-style pressure often found in high-volume workshops.

The Role:
As a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing premium and prestige vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Carrying out advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and specialist tools
- Completing vehicle inspections and health checks
- Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
- Carrying out repairs to a high standard
- Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Maintaining excellent workshop standards
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service
About You:
We're looking for an experienced automotive technician with a strong mechanical and diagnostic background. You'll ideally have:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or an equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Mechanic, Service Technician or similar
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge
- Experience working with modern vehicle systems
- A methodical approach to diagnosing and repairing faults
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence is preferred
