We're recruiting an experienced technician to join a well-established independent specialist garage in Tunbridge Wells.

You'll work Monday to Friday, with NO weekends and NO late shifts, while working on a range of premium, prestige and performance vehicles.

£35,000-£40,000 basic salary + excellent working environment + training + progression.

What will you be doing?

You'll be carrying out a mixture of servicing, repairs and diagnostics on premium and prestige vehicles.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Servicing and maintaining vehicles
• Mechanical repairs and fault finding
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Advanced vehicle diagnostics
• Using modern specialist diagnostic equipment
• Vehicle inspections and health checks
• Preparing vehicles for MOT
• Carrying out repairs to a high standard
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation
• Maintaining a clean and professional workshop
• Ensuring every vehicle leaves to a high standard

What are we looking for?

We're looking for an experienced technician with good mechanical and diagnostic ability.

Ideally, you'll have:

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Mechanic or similar
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Good electrical and electronic understanding
• Experience diagnosing faults on modern vehicles
• A methodical approach to diagnostics and repairs
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred
