Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our modern workshop, you will:

  • Carry out vehicle diagnostics, routine servicing, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs across a wide variety of makes and models.
  • Utilize modern diagnostic tools and scanners to systematically identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Conduct MOT inspections (if qualified) in strict accordance with DVSA guidelines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining accurate digital service records and meeting key workshop deadlines.
  • Maintain clean, safety-first workshop practices while collaborating smoothly with our skilled technical team.

What You Need

  • Qualifications & Experience: NVQ / IMI Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year hands‑on experience in vehicle diagnosis and repair. F‑Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Licensing: Full UK driving licence is required. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
  • Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair and diagnostic tasks effectively. Strong fault-finding ability, self‑motivated, reliable, organized, and committed to high‑quality workmanship.

Based in Fishponds (Bristol, BS5), our facility offers a quick and straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Kingswood, Downend, Yate, Filton, Longwell Green, Keynsham, Bath, and surrounding Bristol and Gloucestershire areas.
