Your Role

  • Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine servicing, engine work, braking systems, and general mechanical repairs to strict trade standards.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern automotive software and diagnostic equipment to identify, troubleshoot, and rectify complex faults.
  • Technical Growth: Support senior technicians with high-level fault diagnosis and learn advanced repair methodologies.
  • Safety Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle health checks and maintain accurate technical records.
  • Quality Standards: Deliver reliable, "first-time fix" results to maintain our excellent local reputation for engineering excellence.

What You Need

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent City & Guilds / time-served experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months of professional workshop experience (we are happy to have a flexible discussion based on your skills).
  • Tools: Having your own vehicle repair tools is preferred.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Mindset: A strong interest in diagnostics and a genuine desire to progress your skills further.
