About the Role
We are looking for a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will be responsible for performing servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to vehicles to a high standard. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a professional workshop, is technically confident, and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and software
- Perform repairs on brakes, clutches, suspensions, exhausts, and engine systems
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and customer expectations
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards

- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment
About You
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred (Level 2 considered with strong experience)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills across a range of vehicles
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-focused
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Clear communicator with good customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools preferred
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and skill development
