We are looking for a skilled Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join our busy, state-of-the-art service department near Trowbridge. Your Role
As a core Service Advisor in our Trowbridge team, you will:
- Customer Journey: Greet visitors, provide a premium experience, and act as the main link between the customer and the workshop.
- Consultative Service: Listen to customer concerns, document them accurately, and explain recommended vehicle repairs, servicing, and MOT results clearly.
- Estimates & Invoicing: Provide accurate cost estimates for parts and labour, ensuring total transparency.
- Workshop Coordination: Schedule appointments, manage the service desk calendar, and liaise with vehicle technicians and mechanics to ensure timely vehicle completion.
- Follow-Up: Maintain contact with customers throughout the day to provide digital progress updates and handle post-service satisfaction checks.
What You Need
- Experience: Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Aftersales Consultant, or a strong background in a fast-paced customer-facing role.
- Technical Awareness: A basic knowledge of automotive systems, car servicing, or parts is a major advantage but not essential.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask under pressure.
- Licensing: A full UK manual driving license is required.
