You’ll also receive ongoing technical guidance and specialist training from our founder, who has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll work on a wide variety of prestige, performance and classic vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
  • Engine diagnostics and fault finding
  • Electrical diagnostics
  • Suspension, steering and braking repairs
  • Engine and drivetrain repairs
  • Clutch and gearbox work
  • Timing belt and timing chain replacement
  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out repairs to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate job records
  • Following manufacturer and company repair standards
  • Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised

The role offers plenty of variety, with the opportunity to work on vehicles and technical problems that you simply wouldn't encounter in a typical workshop.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced technician who takes genuine pride in their work and wants to continue developing their skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic or Diagnostic Technician
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to diagnose faults methodically and accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

  • Prestige, luxury or performance vehicles
  • Supercars or high-performance vehicles
  • Classic cars
  • Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati or Alfa Romeo
  • Manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • MOT Tester qualification
