What you will be doing:
- Departmental Leadership: Lead, mentor, and set clear targets for the parts team to maintain exceptional service for both internal workshop and external trade/retail customers.
- Financial & Stock Control: Oversee overheads, manage inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, and monitor daily sales to ensure department gross profit and budget targets are consistently met.
- Purchasing & Commercial Strategy: Manage parts purchasing in line with franchisor agreements to maximize buying efficiency and margins.
- Sales Expansion: Utilize creative thinking to run sales promotions, source high-margin inventory, and actively grow local trade and retail market share.
Commutable Locations:
This role is based in Tonbridge, making it an easy commute from Sevenoaks, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, and Paddock Wood.
