Automotive Service Advisor – Independent & Family-Run (No High-Pressure Targets)

About Us

We are a trusted, independent, family-run garage that has proudly served the Tonbridge community for over two decades. Our business thrives on honesty, reliability, and excellent workmanship, which has earned us a highly loyal customer base and a fantastic local reputation. What is in it for you:

  • Salary: Β£30,000 – Β£35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + bi-annual, company-wide performance bonuses based on collective success.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. Saturdays are just one per month (usually the second Saturday of the month), 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
  • Perks: 30 days of annual leave (including Bank Holidays and a 3-day Christmas shutdown), job security in a genuinely supportive team environment, and zero aggressive individual sales targets.

What you will be doing:

  • Customer Care: Acting as the primary point of contact for our customers, overseeing the entire customer journey from initial booking to vehicle collection.
  • Diagnostics & Workshop Communication: Translating technical workshop updates from our technicians into clear, professional, and approachable advice for customers.
  • Workshop Scheduling: Keeping the daily workflow organized by efficiently managing customer bookings and repair schedules through our GDS system.
  • Client Relations: Maintaining the exceptionally high standards of honest service that our long-term, local customers expect.

Requirements

A background in a customer-facing role is required (experience within the automotive industry is highly preferred). You must be highly organized, confident using computer systems, and have a natural commitment to honesty and transparency.

Commutable Locations

This role is based in Tonbridge, making it an easy commute from Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Maidstone, and Kings Hill.
