The Role
- As our Workshop Controller, you will split your time between leading our brand-new workshop operations and stepping onto the floor for hands‑on mechanical work when required.
- Manage daily workshop flow, delegate tasks to technicians, and oversee quality control.
- Handle end-to-end manufacturer and internal warranty claims accurately.
- Step in to assist with vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs during peak times.
- Ensure all tablet-based digital job cards and vehicle health checks are completed efficiently.
- Drive workshop productivity while maintaining strict health and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic ready for the next step in their career.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a team and workflow.
- Prior experience dealing with, or a good understanding of, vehicle warranty claims.
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with strong diagnostic skills.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
