About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy team. You’ll be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a varied range of vehicles, including Jaguar Land Rover, prestige cars, and around 25–27 fleet vehicles that require regular general checks. This is an ideal role for someone who wants technical variety, diagnostic challenge, and to contribute to a high-performing workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults across engine, gearbox, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Conduct routine checks and general inspections on a fleet of ~25–27 vehicles
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and software (including TOPIX & ODIS)
- Complete tyres, air-conditioning servicing, and general workshop repairs
- Explain faults and recommended work clearly to customers when needed
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficiency and quality
