Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your experience and qualification level)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Guaranteed stable weekday hours with STRICTLY ZERO WEEKENDS)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, high-profile independent team in Swindon. You will carry out servicing, safety health checks, and mechanical repairs across a diverse range of vehicles—from everyday hatchbacks and modern EVs to luxury and high-performance cars—utilizing advanced diagnostic software to resolve complex faults.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven workshop track record
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Active MOT Tester licence or F-Gas certification is preferred, but not required
- Reliable, self-motivated team player comfortable using digital systems and adapting quickly to different car brands
Location & Commute
- Base: Swindon (Modern, clean, progressive independent workshop with free on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Conveniently positioned off the M4 (J15/J16) and A419 corridors, offering fast daily commutes across Wiltshire
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Swindon railway station alongside local and regional bus routes
- Commutable From: Highworth, Royal Wootton Bassett, Marlborough, Cirencester, Faringdon, Chippenham, and surrounding areas
