We are seeking an experienced Master Vehicle Technician / Senior Diagnostic Technician to join our highly respected main dealership team in Swansea. Operating in a modern, high-spec workshop with full manufacturer backing, we handle advanced diagnostics, complex mechanical overhauls, and electrical fault resolution. - The Pay: £30,000 – £40,000 basic per year (fully negotiable depending on experience) with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential of £35,000 – £42,000 via a lucrative, uncapped monthly performance bonus.
- Guaranteed Weekends Off: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00–stable weekday hours with strictly no mandatory weekend shifts.
- Premium Overtime: Optional Saturday morning overtime is available and paid at time and a half (x1.5) if you want to boost your earnings.

Your Day-to-Day
Working as a key technical authority within our Swansea dealership, you will:
- Carry out advanced servicing, complex mechanical maintenance, and safety‑critical repairs to strict manufacturer standards.
- Use factory-level diagnostic tools and software to systematically troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Maintain manufacturer service procedures to ensure exceptional "first‑time fix" results.
- Work productively within set timescales to keep the workshop running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Mentor and support junior mechanics and apprentice technicians, sharing your knowledge to maintain workshop standards.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Credentials: A Master Vehicle Technician qualification is essential, alongside an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent automotive qualification).
- The Experience: A proven track record working as a Senior Technician or Master Mechanic within a franchised main dealership.
- The Skills: Exceptional knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, advanced fault‑finding, and complex mechanical repairs.
- The Basics: A full UK driving licence is essential, and you must be able to pass a basic, fully funded DBS check.
