What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out routine servicing, inspection checks, and vehicle maintenance across a diverse range of makes and models.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Executing core mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts/chains, and steering setups.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and rectifying failures.
- Maintaining a high standard of quality and safety across all completed repairs.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time-served equivalent).
- Proven hands-on workshop experience within an independent garage or dealership setting.
- Logical fault-finding capability, strong mechanical skills, and pride in clean, accurate work.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
