We're a well-established, successful family-run independent garage in Sheerness, and we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic to join our team.

The Role
You'll be joining an experienced workshop team carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
This is a hands-on role for a technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, fixing vehicles properly and taking pride in their workmanship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Electrical repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- MOT preparation and associated repairs
- Identifying faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Completing work efficiently and to a high standard
- Working safely and professionally
- Working as part of a friendly and experienced team
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic who wants a stable, long-term position with a good local business.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Pride in your workmanship
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
MOT Tester qualification is an advantage but is not essential.
