Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Stroud facility, you will:

  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs across a wide variety of makes and models.
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment for precise fault-finding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical problem-solving.
  • Complete thorough maintenance & prep work, ensuring every vehicle meets top-tier quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain precise digital job records and keep workshop standards clean, organized, and safety-focused.

What You Need

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent).
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostics.
  • F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).

Licensing:

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.

Equipment & Mindset:

  • Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with strong customer care skills and pride in quality workmanship.
