Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Stroud facility, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs across a wide variety of makes and models.
- Use modern diagnostic equipment for precise fault-finding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical problem-solving.
- Complete thorough maintenance & prep work, ensuring every vehicle meets top-tier quality and safety standards.
- Maintain precise digital job records and keep workshop standards clean, organized, and safety-focused.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent).
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostics.
- F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing:
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Equipment & Mindset:
- Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair tasks effectively.
- Collaborative team player with strong customer care skills and pride in quality workmanship.
