Work on exceptional cars. Work with people who value your skills.
We are a well-established, family-run specialist workshop with an excellent reputation for working on supercars, prestige vehicles, performance cars and rare collectible vehicles. We’re looking for an experienced technician to join our team. This is a genuine opportunity to move away from the pressure and structure of a large dealership and join a professional, close-knit workshop where quality matters, technicians are trusted, and good work is recognised and rewarded.
What makes this role different?
- £35,000–£45,000 salary, depending on experience
- Performance bonus based on quality and results
- Monday to Friday – no compulsory weekend work
- Optional Saturday overtime: £20–£25 per hour
- Guaranteed £1,000 salary increase every year
- 30 days paid holiday including bank holidays
- Work on supercars, prestige, luxury and performance vehicles
- Supportive, professional and friendly workshop environment
- Genuine opportunity to develop your diagnostic and technical skills
- Company pension
- Employee discount
- Free on-site parking
The Role
You’ll be working on a varied range of specialist and high-value vehicles, carrying out both routine maintenance and more complex diagnostic and repair work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining prestige and performance vehicles
- Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and fault-finding
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment and dealer-level systems
- Accessing and interpreting manufacturer technical information
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying faults accurately
- Working to manufacturer specifications and high-quality repair standards
- Ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop to an exceptional standard
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Working independently while contributing to a knowledgeable and supportive team
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, methodical and genuinely cares about the quality of their work. You should have:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Solid experience as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A methodical approach to problem-solving
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience with prestige or performance cars? Great – but it isn't essential.
If you have strong diagnostic and mechanical skills from a mainstream dealership or independent garage, we'd still like to hear from you. We can provide the environment and opportunity to develop your experience with more specialist vehicles.
The Person
We’re not simply looking for someone who can turn a spanner. We want a technician who:
- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship
- Enjoys diagnosing difficult faults and finding the right solution
- Understands the importance of attention to detail
- Wants to keep developing technically
- Can be trusted to work independently
- Cares about the reputation of the workshop and the quality of every vehicle that leaves it
A better place to work
If you're tired of being treated like just another technician number, this could be a very different kind of workshop. You’ll work alongside people who care about engineering, quality and customer service, while having the opportunity to work on vehicles that you simply won't see in a typical garage every day.
If you're a skilled Vehicle Technician looking for better work, better vehicles and a better working environment, we'd love to hear from you.
