We are a well-established, independent premium automotive workshop in Sevenoaks, specialising in the servicing, maintenance and repair of prestige and performance vehicles. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our busy workshop and maintain the exceptional standards our customers expect. This is an excellent opportunity for a current or former vehicle technician looking to progress into a management role while remaining involved in the technical side of the business.

The Role
As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring efficiency, productivity and the highest quality of workmanship. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and motivating a team of technicians
- Planning and allocating workshop jobs efficiently
- Monitoring workshop productivity and performance
- Providing technical guidance and support where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Liaising with service advisors and customers regarding technical issues
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
- Supporting the continued development and training of the workshop team
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (essential)
- Current or previous Workshop Controller or Workshop Manager experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and technical knowledge
- Leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- A positive, hands-on approach
- Full UK driving licence
