What You'll Be Doing
- Routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and multi-point health checks across diverse makes and models.
- Diagnostic fault-finding on complex electrical, mechanical, and engine management systems.
- Core mechanical repairs: timing belts/chains, clutches, brakes, suspension setups, and steering components.
- MOT preparation, failure repairs, and routine maintenance (Class 4 MOT testing if licensed).
- Air conditioning servicing, wheel alignment adjustments, and modern component replacements.
- Maintaining clean bay standards and accurate job documentation.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time-served equivalent).
- Proven experience in an independent garage, fast-fit center, or dealership.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
