£35,000 to £40,000 Basic + Over £5k Profit Share – Mon to Fri Full‑time position in an independent workshop near Fareham handling routine servicing, maintenance and comprehensive mechanical work.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary per year + substantial end‑of‑year profit share (has paid out over £5,000)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Strictly no weekends.

Holiday: 20 days holiday + bank holidays.

Training: Full training and development provided; opportunity to gain a MOT tester licence if not already holding one.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Carrying out routine servicing, regular maintenance and multi‑point health checks to high standards.
  • Handling a wide variety of work, from brakes and suspension to clutches, diagnostics and full mechanical overhauls.
  • Utilising modern diagnostic equipment to efficiently fault‑find and solve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Prepping vehicles for MOT testing and working alongside our testing team to ensure 100% road safety.
  • Contributing to a clean, well‑organised workspace and maintaining a positive team atmosphere.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience: Experienced Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic comfortable working on a wide range of everyday makes and models.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Qualified (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) preferred, but practical ability and reliable work ethic are essential.
  • Mindset: Reliable team player who takes pride in workmanship and wants a stable, long‑term role within a close‑knit team.
  • A full UK driving licence.
