What You’ll Be Doing
- Skill Building: Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance, precision servicing, and light mechanical repairs across multi-brand fleets.
- Safety & Compliance: Performing multi-point health checks, comprehensive MOT preparation work, and standard component replacements (brakes, suspension, exhausts).
- Quality Control: Road-testing vehicles to ensure right-first-time main dealer safety and quality standards.
- Specialist Learning: Gaining extensive hands-on experience with modern diagnostic suites, software updates, and high-voltage hybrid/EV systems.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with senior master technician mentors and a professional service team to keep workshop bays flowing efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served qualifications).
- 1+ years of professional experience as a Vehicle Technician, Junior Mechanic, or Fast-Fit Professional.
- Confident with the fundamentals—basic servicing, brakes, suspension, and light mechanical work.
- A reliable, detail-focused individual with a massive hunger to learn multi-brand platforms and progress into a higher-tier technician.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
