The Role – Service Technician / Car Mechanic
This position suits a junior vehicle technician or car mechanic with some hands‑on experience, whether from a fast‑fit centre, tyre bay, or early‑stage mechanical role. You’ll be supported, trained, and encouraged to develop your skills at a steady pace within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine vehicle servicing and basic mechanical repairs
- Tyre fitting, puncture repairs, and wheel balancing
- Assisting with brakes, suspension, batteries, and exhausts
- Vehicle health checks and inspections
- Using basic diagnostic tools (full training provided)
- Maintaining accurate job records
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organised
- Supporting the team to keep work flowing smoothly
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
30‑minute lunch plus two 15‑minute breaks
Saturday work on a rota basis
