Key Responsibilities
- Systematically isolate complex mechanical, software, and electronic faults across multi-brand inventory
- Carry out official Class 4 MOT tests to strict DVSA guidelines
- Execute routine vehicle servicing, cambelt/timing chain replacements, clutch overhauls, and general maintenance
- Ensure all repair work meets high safety standards and complete precise digital job cards
- Maintain right-first-time quality control while working efficiently within a supportive team
Candidate Profile
- MOT Qualification: Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester License mandatory
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Employment Stability: Demonstrated history of long tenure in previous roles (showing true commitment and reliability)
- Diagnostic Skills: Expert-level diagnostic and electronic fault-finding capabilities
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
