What You’ll Be Doing

  • Complex Diagnostics: Isolating and troubleshooting complex electrical, mechanical, and network faults across the VAG platform using dealer diagnostic systems.
  • Advanced Repairs: Undertaking complex component overhauls, engine re-fits, timing chains, gearboxes, and high-level vehicle repairs.
  • VAG Master Standards: Carrying out software flashes, warranty diagnostic procedures, and complex electronic health checks.
  • Workshop Mentorship: Providing technical guidance to junior technicians and supporting overall workshop efficiency.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair with proven senior/master diagnostic experience.
  • Expert diagnostic capabilities and fault-finding habits (VAG/German brand experience strongly preferred).
  • High standard of craftsmanship with a focus on quality and workshop productivity.
  • A full UK driving licence.
