Core Responsibilities
- Conduct official Class 4 MOT tests in strict compliance with DVSA standards
- Systematically isolate and repair complex mechanical, electronic, and software faults across multi-brand inventory
- Execute routine vehicle servicing, cambelt/timing chain replacements, clutch overhauls, and general maintenance
- Complete precise digital job cards and communicate clearly with service management
- Maintain right-first-time quality control while working efficiently within a supportive team
Candidate Profile
- MOT Qualification: Active, valid DVSA Class 4 MOT Tester Licence (Mandatory)
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time-served equivalent)
- Employment Stability: Demonstrated history of long tenure in previous roles, showing commitment and reliability
- Technical Skills: Confident multi-brand diagnostic, fault-finding, and heavy mechanical capabilities
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
