Key Responsibilities
- Conduct DVSA-compliant MOT inspections to strict regulatory standards.
- Perform routine vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, and comprehensive health checks across a wide variety of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Lead complex electrical and mechanical diagnostics, emissions troubleshooting, and DPF restoration procedures.
- Execute heavy mechanical overhauls, including timing chains, clutch systems, engine repairs, and suspension overhauls.
- Maintain precise digital workshop job records and uphold a "right-first-time" standard of craftsmanship.
- Work collaboratively with team members and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient, transparent turnarounds.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- MOT Accreditation: Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester Licence (Required).
- Technical Experience: 7–8+ years of hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Auto Mechanic, or Diagnostic Specialist.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Confident using modern scan tools for root-cause analysis across various drivetrains and vehicle makes.
- Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented senior technician who takes pride in independent quality and teamwork.
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Required).
