We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy, friendly independent garage with a strong reputation for honest service and quality workmanship. This role is ideal for either:
- An experienced Service Advisor, or
- A qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic who wants to come off the tools and move into a customer-facing role.
If you have strong workshop knowledge and great people skills, this is an excellent opportunity to stay in the motor trade while gaining a better work–life balance.

Duties
- Booking vehicles in for service, MOT and repairs
- Acting as the main customer contact (phone, email and front desk)
- Preparing job cards and scheduling work for technicians
- Providing estimates and explaining repairs clearly
- Liaising between workshop and customers
- Ordering parts and invoicing
- Delivering professional, honest customer service
Requirements
- Experience as a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor, or similar role or Ex-Mechanic / Vehicle Technician looking to move into a service desk role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of vehicle repairs and workshop processes
- Confident using computer systems
- Full UK driving licence preferred
