We are hiring a Vehicle Technician to join our state-of-the-art service facility in Reading. This is your ultimate opportunity to trade high-volume stress for structured, professional career development.

Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Reading facility, you will:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues using factory-level diagnostic software and scanners.
  • Perform diverse repairs, ranging from routine servicing to intricate mechanical component replacements.
  • Follow structured manufacturer guidelines to guarantee precise, safety-first workmanship on every job.
  • Maintain digital job records while collaborating with a supportive network of senior master technicians.

What You Need

  • Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent). A solid background in a fast-fit centre, auto repair shop, independent garage, or MOT station. F-Gas certification is preferred.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
  • Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for everyday workshop tasks.
  • Key Strengths: Strong team mindset, attention to detail, and a drive to master modern vehicle tech.
