Key Responsibilities
- Conduct DVSA-compliant MOT tests efficiently across a broad range of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Perform full vehicle safety inspections, focusing on brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, lighting, and exhaust emissions.
- Carry out routine mechanical repairs, fast-fit component replacements, and post-test adjustments using modern hand and power tools.
- Log digital inspection records accurately and process DVSA test results with high precision.
- Ensure testing bays, lift equipment, and emissions analyzers remain clean, organized, and properly calibrated.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- MOT Certification: Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester Licence (Essential).
- Technical Experience: Strong hands-on background as an Automotive Technician, Car Mechanic, or Fast-Fit Specialist.
- Practical Skills: Proficient with diagnostic tools, mechanical repairs, and physical workshop tasks.
- Mindset: Reliable, safety-conscious team player with keen attention to detail.
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Required).
