  • Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team performance incentive
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair team rota

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform core mechanical repairs, including timing chains/belts, clutch kits, engine overhauls, and suspension rebuilds
  • Use multi-brand diagnostic tools to isolate and fix mechanical, software, and electrical faults accurately
  • Complete scheduled servicing, safety inspections, brake/suspension overhauls, and pre-MOT health checks
  • Write detailed repair notes on job sheets and keep front-desk staff informed on job timelines
  • Keep work bays clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety guidelines

What We Need From You

  • Experience: Time-served mechanic with solid confidence in heavy mechanical work and diagnostic fault isolation
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served garage background)
  • MOT Status: Active MOT Tester licence is preferred (with higher starting pay potential), but is not essential to apply
  • Mindset: Dependable, detail-oriented technician focused on clean workmanship and right-first-time fixes
  • Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
