Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (reviewed every 6 months to match your performance and skill development)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (SHORTER WEEKDAY HOURS & NO WEEKENDS—enjoy a early 4:30 PM finish with zero Saturday shifts!)

Role Overview
Seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our clean, modern workshop team in Newport. Moving far beyond basic "test-lane" duties, you will take charge of high-level mechanical repairs, engine work, routine servicing, and systematic fault-finding using top industry diagnostic equipment across a wide variety of customer vehicles to high industry standards.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with proven workshop experience
- Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
- Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
