What You’ll Be Doing

  • MOT Testing: Conducting Class 4 (and Class 7 if qualified) MOT tests strictly to DVSA standards.
  • Fast-Fit & Repairs: Carrying out light repairs, brake replacements, suspension work, and routine servicing on tested vehicles.
  • Customer Communication: Advising service advisors clearly on test outcomes, advisories, and necessary safety repairs.
  • Compliance & Quality: Maintaining accurate DVSA logs, keeping test bay equipment clean and calibrated, and upholding right-first-time standards.

Requirements

  • Active DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester License (Class 4 essential).
  • Proven background as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, or Car Mechanic (independent garage or main dealer).
  • Strong eye for compliance, clean work standards, and up-to-date knowledge of DVSA regulations.
  • A full UK driving licence.
