Your Day-to-Day

Working as a core member of our Melksham workshop, you will:

  • Take on full engine work, routine vehicle servicing, braking, steering, suspension, and general mechanical maintenance.
  • Lead on fault-finding, tuning, and vehicle remapping using specialist on-site multi-brand diagnostic equipment.
  • Manage complex mechanical and electrical diagnostic resolutions from start to finish as a Diagnostic Specialist.
  • Use tablet-based garage management systems to update job cards, log parts, and maintain an organized workshop workflow.

What You Bring to the Table

  • The Credentials: Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent time-served workshop experience).
  • The Experience: Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic in a professional garage setting.
  • The Mindset: Comfortable using modern diagnostic software, digital job cards, and maintaining excellent quality standards with your own tools.
  • The Basics: A full UK driving licence is essential. Having an active MOT Tester licence is always a great bonus!
