Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our busy Maidenhead workshop, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair an array of complex mechanical and electrical faults across a wide variety of makes and models.
  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled preventative maintenance, and comprehensive system repairs to a high standard.
  • Complete thorough vehicle safety inspections and manage technical MOT preparation work efficiently.
  • Keep accurate digital job records and collaborate productively with the front desk and senior workshop team.

What You Need

  • Qualifications: Industry‑recognized automotive certifications (NVQ Level 2, Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent time‑served experience). F‑Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Experience: Proven track record working as a confident Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Technician in a professional workshop setting.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic problem‑solving skills, real pride in quality workmanship, own hand tools, and a great team‑player attitude.
