Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our busy Maidenhead workshop, you will:
- Diagnose and repair an array of complex mechanical and electrical faults across a wide variety of makes and models.
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled preventative maintenance, and comprehensive system repairs to a high standard.
- Complete thorough vehicle safety inspections and look after technical MOT preparation work.
- Keep accurate, clear digital job records and collaborate productively with the service desk and workshop team.
What You Need
- Experience: Proven track record working as a confident Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Technician in a professional workshop setting.
- Qualifications: Industry-recognized automotive certifications (NVQ Level 2, Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent time-served experience) are preferred.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required. Having an active MOT Tester licence is highly preferred but not completely essential.
