Core Duties
- Carry out manufacturer-scheduled maintenance, core servicing, and mechanical repairs to franchise standards
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using official dealer diagnostic suites
- Complete detailed multi-point vehicle health checks (VHC) for customer peace of mind
- Update electronic repair sheets and keep the service desk informed on parts and repair timelines
- Partner with an approachable, high-performing workshop team to keep turnaround fast and standards high
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: No formal certs strictly required—proven time-served garage experience and tool confidence are prioritized
- Experience: Strong background in general servicing, fast-turnaround prep, and diagnostic fault finding (franchise background helpful, but independent technicians are welcome!)
- Skills: Solid mechanical troubleshooting abilities and adaptability across classic, hybrid, and electric setups
- Attributes: Organized, dependable mechanic dedicated to right-first-time quality
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence preferred
