What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnostics & Mechanical Repairs: Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a high volume of light vehicles to ensure peak safety and performance.
- Technical Oversight: Reading and interpreting technical schematics, utilizing hand and power tools efficiently, and executing complex repairs.
- Workshop Leadership & Administration: Utilizing your interpersonal and judgment skills to assist with job pricing, decision-making, customer relations, and daily workshop flow alongside the Service Manager.
- Quality & Safety: Maintaining clean working conditions, adhering to health and safety standards, and upholding our "Right First Time" ethos.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6–7 years’ proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic.
- Prior management, supervisory, or workshop lead experience (or strong readiness to step up).
- Strong diagnostic ability, sound judgment, job pricing knowledge, and effective communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence and current UK work authorization.
