We are looking for a Vehicle Technician / Junior Mechanic with 1–2 years' workshop experience to join our long-established, independent garage in Kent. This is a rare opportunity to earn strong money, receive ongoing training, and enjoy an excellent work–life balance with no weekend work.

We are a family-run independent garage with nearly 100 years of heritage, known locally for quality workmanship and outstanding customer care. Rated 5 stars on Auto Trader and multiple award winners for customer service, we operate a busy workshop alongside a used car sales operation, servicing and preparing over 40 hand-picked, low-mileage vehicles.
Our services include vehicle servicing, MOT preparation, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs, offering technicians varied, steady work in a supportive environment — without main dealer pressure.
What's on Offer
- Basic salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
- Monthly bonus £200–£400
- OTE up to £39,000
- Monday–Wednesday: 8:00am–5:30pm
- Thursday & Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm (early finish)
- No weekends
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Your Role
As a Junior Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will:
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs
- Perform MOT preparation, inspections, and safety checks
- Diagnose faults using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Road-test vehicles after repairs
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Work closely with the service advisor and workshop team
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Junior Mechanic, or Service Technician
- Good understanding of vehicle servicing and basic diagnostics
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Passion for quality workmanship
