Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all standalone technical operations within the workshop as the primary technician.
- Execute deep-level mechanical repairs, including engine block teardowns, major overhauls, custom rebuilds, and complex component replacements.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic fault-finding and root-cause analysis across varied, high-end vehicle setups.
- Self-manage repair timelines and prioritize daily workshop flow to deliver exceptional standards.
- Maintain clean, organized workshop bays and uphold high safety standards.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served specialist background).
- Technical Mastery: Proven background going deep into major mechanical overhauls and engine builds (far beyond routine servicing and fast-fit work).
- Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work unsupervised, make sound technical calls, and take full ownership of the workshop setup.
- MOT Requirement: None (This facility does not conduct MOT testing).
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Required).
