What You’ll Be Doing

  • Core Mechanical Work: Building confidence on full brake overhauls, steering geometry, and suspension repairs.
  • Introduction to Diagnostics: Learning to use modern multi‑make diagnostic platforms to read codes and trace faults.
  • Heavy Repair Support: Gaining hands‑on experience with timing chains, clutches, and belt replacements under senior guidance.
  • Servicing: Carrying out high‑standard scheduled maintenance and vehicle safety health checks.

Requirements

  • Around 2 years of professional workshop experience (independent, fast‑fit, or main dealer).
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • A reliable team player hungry to step away from basic tire‑fitting and level up.
  • A full UK driving licence.
