What You'll Be Doing
Managing a complete automotive repair package across multi-make vehicles, including:
- Advanced Diagnostics & Electrics: Pinpointing and rectifying intricate faults using our modern computerized diagnostic tech.
- Core Mechanical Work: Handling complex engine rebuilds, cylinder head work, clutch/gearbox replacements, and cambelt/cam chain jobs.
- Servicing & Fleet Maintenance: Executing routine service programs, brake/disc upgrades, and multi-point vehicle health checks to manufacturer specifications.
- Specialist Services: Conducting advanced 4-wheel laser alignment, precision welding, and complete air conditioning servicing (including R134A and R1234YF diagnostics).
- MOT Preparation: Pre-checking vehicles and repairing failed items to pristine, road-safe compliance.
Are You The One? (Requirements)
- Qualifications: Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds, or an equivalent portfolio of deep workshop experience).
- Experience: Proven, professional hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Mechanic inside an independent garage or main dealer.
- Skills: A strong diagnostic brain with a patient, logical approach to modern automotive networks and major mechanical repairs.
- Mindset: A reliable team player who takes massive pride in clean, honest workmanship and treats every customer vehicle as if it were their own. Must hold a full UK driving licence.
