Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines
  • Accurately identify and advise on required repairs and maintenance
  • Complete MOT documentation correctly and in line with regulations
  • Maintain calibration and cleanliness of MOT testing equipment
  • Perform light mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostics
  • Support the workshop team when not conducting MOT tests

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Valid MOT Testing Licence
  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic
  • Confident in diagnostics, servicing, and general vehicle repairs
