About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a respected independent workshop based in Hitchin, specialising in high-performance and sports vehicles. Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles including high-performance and sports cars
- Perform diagnostics and fault finding using modern diagnostic equipment
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete vehicle health checks and reports
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality and performance
- Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and safety
- Work collaboratively with the team and support junior staff where required
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Experience working with modern vehicle systems
- Full UK driving licence
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and teamworking skills
- Experience with performance or prestige vehicles is advantageous
