We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our multi-award-winning automotive workshop in High Wycombe. Recognised by the IAAF and IGA for technical excellence, we offer a basic salary of Β£37,500+ (within our Β£35,000-Β£40,000 range), up to 10% bonus potential, Monday-to-Friday hours (8:00-17:30 M-Th, early 16:00 finish Fridays, max 4 Saturdays/year), and EV training.

Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and management system faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
- Create customer video reports detailing vehicle conditions and recommended work to maintain full transparency.
- Conduct road tests, reset service indicators, and maintain complete, accurate workshop documentation.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 3, IMI, or City & Guilds equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, backed by 5+ years of workshop experience. F-Gas certification and High Voltage/Hybrid qualifications are preferred.
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic skills, computer literacy (TechMan software experience is a plus), and high attention to detail.
