We have an excellent opportunity available for a powerhouse Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join our prestigious, multi-award-winning independent workshop in High Wycombe. The Rewards
- Salary: £37,500+ per year (Fixed baseline dependent on experience) plus bonus potential up to 10%.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:30, Friday 08:00 – 16:00 (Enjoy an early finish to your week). Maximum of just 4 Saturday mornings per year (08:00 – 13:00).

Your Role
- Mechanical & Electrical Repair: Complete full vehicle servicing, component replacements, and precise mechanical maintenance to strict manufacturer standards.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Inspect and diagnose tricky mechanical, electrical, and engine management systems using modern diagnostic kit.
- Digital Communication: Create professional customer video reports detailing vehicle condition and recommended work, while maintaining accurate service documentation.
- Road Testing: Conduct thorough road tests to ensure vehicles are fully operational and service indicators are accurately reset.
- Workshop Pride: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, ensuring all tools and stock are properly cared for.
What You Need
- Qualifications: Minimum of NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. (High Voltage / Hybrid or MOT Tester certifications are highly advantageous but not essential).
- Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a high-end automotive workshop or busy service centre.
- Key Strengths: Strong problem‑solving abilities, high attention to detail, digital literacy (experience with TechMan or similar software is a plus), and a great team-player mindset.
- Licensing: A clean, full UK driving licence.
