Your Role

As a core Level 3 Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Specialist in our High Wycombe workshop, you will:

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, including routine servicing, brake overhauls, clutch replacements, timing belts, engine rebuilds, and chassis maintenance to strict manufacturer standards.
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic software and factory tooling to systematically troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex vehicle faults.
• Maintain high quality-control standards to deliver clean, right-first-time fix results and ensure high workshop efficiency and customer trust.
• Complete digital vehicle health checks (VHC) and digital job cards to provide transparent technical reporting.
• Collaborate closely with master technicians and service advisors in a fast-paced, safety-first workshop environment.

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent IMI qualification) is essential. Proven track record as a qualified Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Diagnostic Specialist in a dealership or busy garage environment. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence (Class 4/7) is preferred but not required.
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a dedicated team-player mindset.
